RAHSA Co.

Founded in 2013 as Idea Land Smart Solution Co. Ltd. by Dr. Salar Basiri, RAHSA evolved in 2016 into a specialized deep-tech R&D enterprise. We engineer advanced solutions for research laboratories, academic institutions, and industrial sectors—spanning custom IoT architectures, building management systems, localized robotics, and complex medical engineering instruments, including the MENA region’s first deployment of an Optical Mapping System in 2018. Driven by a commitment to cross-disciplinary scientific innovation and global IP development, RAHSA is currently transitioning its core corporate structure to the European Union under Estonian e-Residency governance to expand its global technology operations.

What I Do

At RAHSA—an acronym derived from our Persian foundation name, Idea Land Smart Solution (راهکار هوشمند سرزمین ایده)—we specialize in high-precision, cross-disciplinary engineering and deep-tech innovation. Our core capabilities span custom medical instrumentation—including high-speed optical mapping systems and Langendorff isolated heart perfusion models—to low-noise hardware design, high-throughput DAQ architectures, and scientific software engineering.

We engineer resilient Industrial IoT and edge telemetry solutions while seamlessly integrating complex mechanical and electronic sub-systems into unified architectures. Grounded in lean resource optimization, our work turns complex physical concepts into high-efficiency laboratory assets backed by robust intellectual property strategy.

Who I Am

Dr. Salar Basiri is an inventor, mechanical engineer, and deep-tech entrepreneur specializing in high-precision biomedical instrumentation and embedded systems. With an extensive background spanning mechatronics, power electronics, and intellectual property strategy, he bridges the gap between theoretical R&D and deployable industrial technology. As the founder of RAHSA, Dr. Basiri leads the architectural design of advanced optical mapping platforms, low-noise signal processing hardware, and resilient Industrial IoT telemetry systems. An Estonian e-Resident and USPTO patent holder, he combines rigorous scientific software engineering with cross-disciplinary systems integration, driving high-impact laboratory infrastructure and international patent developments.

My Work

Approximately 80% of our portfolio consists of custom-engineered systems developed to fulfill rigorous academic and industrial requirements. Our deliverables range from bespoke proof-of-concept architectures to fully validated Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), with a core focus on specialized instrumentation, mechatronics, and advanced robotics.

In high-tech R&D, complex bottlenecks in one domain often find elegant solutions when mechanics, analog electronics, and firmware are engineered in parallel. Below is a curated selection of foundational systems and open hardware developed by RAHSA and our core engineering team.
